20050804 CHINA - Kashgar

One of the cities / towns I like most in China. The scenery is not exceptionally beautiful, nor having any outstanding historical monuments. I love the atmosphere, the culture and the friendly people. Of course no one would resist the delicious mutton BBQ and honey melon, lovely. Kashgar is unlike any China city, Muslim culture is dominant. The old town is particularly interesting. Absolutely friendly! Kids love to be photographed. Received mixed comments about Hui people during the journey, too extreme. I believed what I have seen and experienced. I like it!
