20050824 CHINA - Xi An

The city's big draw card is the nearby Army of Terracotta Warriors, ranking as one of China's top historical sights. The 2000-year-old Terracotta remains stunningly well preserved. Lots of artifacts yet to be unearthed until better technology / idea to prevent colour oxidization is proposed. The Xi An Museum has vast collections on this topic as well as priceless artifacts and antiques. The tomb of first Qin Emperor is within reach, but not one feasible plan is available to unearth the same without making damage to it. Its excavation will definitely stir the world.
