Shao Lin Temple is among the must-see in China. The architecture is beautiful, some of them have been rebuilt based on the original design after the fire years ago which burned lots of precious records and collections (unrecoverable). The short martial arts performance is stunning and entertaining, majority of the performers are kids and teenagers. The history and stories about Shao Lin are equally interesting. A short trip with cable car to Shao Shi Hill provides a spectacular panoramic view. You might meet an old folk who claims to be able to heal your illness. It was real fun to watch students practicing martial arts in the evening.
