20050418 ETHIOPIA - Dorze
High up in the Guge Mountain near Arba Minch, is the cold, cloudy territory of the Dorze people. The Dorze are famous for their huge beehive huts. Each hut comprises sleeping room, kitchen, and a small area for keeping their herds. It was market day during my visit, really primitive. The village is tidy and clean. I was staying in Arba Minch, a few small hotels are available.
