20050529 Vientiane
We crossed the border to Laos from Nong Khai (Thailand) through Friendship Bridge to Laos border. No visa required for Malaysian. Vientiane looks completely different to my expectation, no lively noisy scenes as seen in Bangkok or Saigon or Phnom Penh, very peaceful & quiet. The city has nothing much to offer to the tourists. The Morning Market is just a sheltered market for trading daily commodities, electrical items, hand phones, clothing and gold / jewelries.
