The city planning of Amsterdam is like a half “ba gua” radiated from the Railway Station, many canals crisscrossing the city. It forms an organized city image. The 3 days 2 nights trip to Amsterdam was a little bit too short. The must-see in Amsterdam is "van Gogh Museum". It houses some of the painter’s masterpiece like "Sunflower", "Potato Eaters", "Crows on the Wheatfield" etc. unfortunately the "Starry Night" is being kept in New York (if not mistaken). Anne Frank’s story / diary about her family 2 yrs hiding in the building during WWII is touching, but the house is not really spectacular. No one would miss the Red Light District in Amsterdam. Sex business is not a taboo here, the Dutch’s attitude towards homosexual is very lenient too. Around the District, plenty of restaurants would definitely satisfy one’s appetite.

Very beautiful Monnickendam, the boat jetty in front of Lake Land Hotel Go to the museum as often as you can My favourite van Gogh Museum Rijksmuseum Many canals crisscrossing the city, I like the ambience National Monument on Dam Square Public toilet (men only) The parking place is full of bicycle Amsterdam has very lenient attitude towards homosexual The 85m bell tower of Westerkerk, tallest in the city Royal Palace Rembrandt House Amsterdam Central Railway Station
